If you wish to be added to the waiting list for sold-out weeks, please make this request in the "special needs" section of the registration form. Full-week applicants have priority over per diem in placement.
- RAIN or SHINE, full schedule of activities
- A professional adult staff made up of USPTA certified coaches & NYS certified teachers, who have passed background checks by the NCSI.
- All campers receive a camp package including a t-shirt & water bottle.
- Outdoor canopy tents for lunch
- Outdoor handwashing and cooling stations.
- Catered lunch is served daily. Any dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
- Air-conditioned clubhouse and trailers.

Camps
Discovery Camp
For kids in kindergarten to 4th grade
Our Discovery Camp offers professional tennis instruction featuring our Red level curriculum. Campers will also experience educational enrichment (STEAM- science, technology, engineering, arts, & math) robotics, & various other sports.
Tennis & Sports Camp
For kids ages 10-18
Our Tennis & Sports camp offers professional tennis instruction and various other sports like basketball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and more.
Academy Camp
Current competition record (UTR Rating/USTA Ranking) requirement
Our Academy Summer Camp is for high-level junior players looking to find a competitive edge. The program is developed to provide technical, physical, & mental training necessary to compete at a high level.
Rates
1 to 4 weeks - $550 / week
5 to 9 weeks - $525 / week
Full day per diem - $120
Half day per diem- $80
(lunch included in rate)
* $100 non-refundable deposit required per registered week (e.g. 3 weeks of camp requires a $300 deposit)*

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I decide between Discovery Camp or Tennis & Sports Camp?
Discovery camp is for children 10 & Under. The Tennis & Sports camp is for ages 11-18.
What makes Cunningham's camps different?
The entire camp staff is made up of professional adults compared to other camps that utilize HS or college students. All of our staff is CPR & AED certified and have passed background checks by the NCSI. Most sumer camps require long term commitments, but we offer schedule flexibility with options for full or half day, early drop off & late pick up, & flexible weekly schedules.
What dietary restrictions do you accommodate?
We will accommodate any dietary restrictions including food allergies, gluten free, dairy free, Kosher, etc.
What if my child has an allergic reaction?
We have staff members employed with experience administering an Epi pen.
What is my child does not like the provided lunch?
We provide cheese or peanut butter & jelly sandwiches if a child does not like the provided lunch for the day.
How much tennis are my kids guaranteed?
Our Discovery Camp provides 2 to 3 hours of tennis ; one and a half hours in the morning and at least an hour in the afternoon. Our Tennis Camp will participate in 4 to 5 hours of tennis daily.
What happens when it rains?
Our camps provide many rainy day activities for campers to enjoy. From movies to ping pong to dance revolution; we have fun till we see the sun!
Does camp have to be paid in full when I register?
When registering for camp, a $100 deposit is required for each week of camp registered. The remaining balance for each week must be paid in full by the end of the previous week.
What types of trips does the camp go on?
There are no scheduled field trips in 2024. Alternatively, we have a weekly schedule of performers that will visit the camp and provide on site entertainment.
How much does transportation cost?
Transportation is provided for an additional fee. Prices are per seat/child.

- $175 per week from Nassau County
- $200 per week from Suffolk County

Can I send my child for part of the week or a half day?
Yes, we offer both per diem and half day rates for each week of camp. Our per diem rate is $120/day and half day rates are $80 per day. Both rates include lunch.
Half day of camp is only from 9AM -1PM. We do not offer afternoon half days.
When do I receive my child's camp package?
Your child's included camp pack (camp shirt & water bottle) will be available to pick up on their first day of camp.
